The Dell Alienware AW3226Q is built with this in mind, with its true RGB stripe OLED screen promising a ‘fringe-free’ experience for work and play. The monitor has a ‘Nova Black’ compact round stand design and dual-stage bezels, with slender panel border flush with the rest of the screen plus slim hard outer part. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by a joystick beneath the central region of the bottom bezel. Customisable RGB ‘AlienFX’ lighting elements include a ring around the power button and an alien logo at the rear.
A 31.5″ 3840 x 2160 (‘4K’ UHD) LG Display Tandem WOLED panel is used with RGB stripe subpixel layout to avoid fringing issues. The screen surface is glossy with anti-reflective finish, whilst a 1.5m:1 static contrast ratio, 10-bit colour and 0.03ms grey to grey response time are specified.
