Further information on supporting our work.Strong ‘out of the box’ colour accuracy and a tight pixel density can be very attractive for some creators. The BenQ PD2732U is built with this in mind as a ‘Creative Pro’ monitor with premium design. The stand has a coated metal finish in dark silver, whilst the top and side bezels are dual-stage at the top and sides. They include a slim panel border flush with the rest of the screen plus a slim hard plastic outer part. The OSD controls include a wireless ‘Hotkey Puck G3’ remote.
A 27″ IPS-type panel is used with 3840 x 2160 (‘4K’ UHD) resolution, ‘nano matte’ anti-glare screen surface and 60Hz refresh rate. A 1000:1 static contrast ratio is specified alongside 178°/178° viewing angles and 10-bit colour. The monitor is factory calibrated (Pantone Validated and Calman Verified) with a specified average DeltaE ≤2. Multiple colour space emulation modes feature – including sRGB, Adobe RGB and DCI-P3. A Uniformity Compensation (UC) setting (‘BenQ Uniformity Technology’) is included to even out brightness at various points of the screen. A range of gamma settings from ‘1.8’ to ‘2.6’ as well as ‘sRGB’ also feature. A ‘flicker-free’ LED backlight provides a 400 cd/m² typical maximum luminance and 99% DCI-P3 (99% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB) colour gamut. BenQ’s usual selection of well-balanced Low Blue Light (LBL) settings are included.
The monitor offers basic HDR10 reproduction. It can put its generous gamut and 10-bit colour to good use, but the brightness is limited by HDR standards and no local dimming is specified. A 5ms grey to grey response time is specified and full ergonomic flexibility included with the stand – tilt, swivel, height adjustment (115mm or 4.53 inches) and pivot into portrait. It can be easily removed using a quick-release catch, revealing provision for alternative 100 x 100mm VESA mounting. The ports mainly face backwards and include; AC power input (internal power converter), HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, Thunderbolt 4 (90W PD, DP Alt Mode, upstream data), Thunderbolt 4 out (15W PD) and USB-C downstream. A USB-C downstream port, 3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the bottom of the screen (towards left as viewed from the front) for easy access. PiP/PbP and KVM are included for easy display input switching and USB peripheral sharing between 2 systems.

Further details can be found on various regional pages from the manufacturer, such as this one (Chinese, requires translation). The monitor is listed ~$1700 USD.
