The AOC AGON Pro AG326UZD2 offers this as a QD-OLED offering, with familiar AGON styling thrown into the mix. This includes an asymmetric low-profile metal stand base for a premium feel and a contrasting dark matte plastic bottom bezel. Dual-stage bezels are used at the top and sides, with panel border flush with the rest of the screen plus slim hard outer part. An overprovisioning of pixels is included for the ‘pixel shift’ style feature which is standard on QD-OLED models. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by a joystick at the rear of the screen, towards the right side as viewed from the front.
A 31.5″ Samsung Display QD-OLED panel is used with 3840 x 2160 (‘4K’ UHD) resolution, alongside 240Hz refresh rate and VRR support. This includes Adaptive-Sync and HDMI 2.1, allowing technologies such as Nvidia ‘G-SYNC Compatible’ and AMD FreeSync to be used, with 48 – 240Hz VRR range plus LFC. Games consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X are offered 120Hz ‘4K’ UHD, alongside VRR support. The screen surface is glossy with what AOC refers to as ‘Anti-Reflective 3.0’ treatment (Samsung ‘Quantum Black’), claimed by Samsung Display to provide “40% deeper blacks” (i.e. lightens up less in ambient light) whilst being “2.5x more scratch-resistant”. Other aspects of note include; a 1.5m:1 static contrast ratio, 178°/178° viewing angles, 10-bit colour and a 0.03ms grey to grey response time. The monitor is ‘flicker-free’, with the panel offering a 300 cd/m² (1000 cd/m² HDR peak) typical maximum luminance and 99% DCI-P3 coverage (96.9% Adobe RGB, 140.7% sRGB, 81.6% Rec. 2020). The monitor provides passive cooling rather than relying on a fan.
An engrossing HDR10 experience is provided by the generous gamut, 10-bit colour and per-pixel illumination. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified – requiring higher brightness levels, including full screen white brightness, than the more common True Black 400 certification. HDR settings with stronger brightness peaks are also included. The stand is fully adjustable, including height adjustment (150mm or 5.91 inches) and pivot into portrait. It attaches centrally via a quick-release mechanism and can be removed to reveal provision for 100 x 100mm VESA mounting. A ‘Light FX’ RGB LED lighting element surrounds the stand attachment point. The ports face downwards and include; an AC power input (internal power converter), 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, DP 2.1 (UHBR 20), USB-C (65W PD, DP Alt Mode, upstream data), 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports (one with fast-charging, plus Type-B upstream) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. KVM is supported, 2 x 8W speakers are included and a 3-year warranty including OLED burn-in cover provides some peace of mind.

Further details can be found on the manufacturer’s website. The monitor is listed with an MSRP of £799.
