27″ and ~32″ QHD IPS models are both versatile choices, with the former offering a higher pixel density and the latter extra immersion. The Samsung Odyssey G50F (G5) provides this, with 27″ variant (S27FG50 with various regional suffixes) and ~32″ variant (S32FG50 with various regional suffixes). The monitors have a simple style, in keeping with other recent IPS offerings in the series. Dark matte plastics dominate and the stand base is relatively compact. The top and side bezels are slim with dual-stage design, including slender hard plastic outer part flush with the rest of the screen and slim hard outer part. The OSD is controlled by a joystick at the rear of the screen, just to the left of centre as viewed from the front.

The ports face downwards and include; a 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2a+ (HDR feature set) and DC power input (external ‘power brick’).
