The AOC U32P2CA is built with these productivity benefits in mind, with the resolution spread out across a 31.5″ screen – in our experience, a very nice combination. The monitor has a smart home-office style, with brushed-finish matte black plastic used extensively. Including for the rectangular stand base and bottom bezel. The top and side bezels are dual-stage, with a slim panel border flush with the rest of the screen and a slender hard plastic outer part. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by forwards-facing buttons towards the right side of the bottom bezel.
A 31.5″ 3840 x 2160 (‘4K’ UHD) VA panel is included with a 3000:1 static contrast ratio, 178°/178° viewing angles and true 8-bit colour output. A light matte anti-glare screen surface is employed, whilst a 60Hz refresh rate is supported alongside Adaptive-Sync. This includes AMD FreeSync with a 40 – 60Hz VRR range. A flicker-free WLED backlight provides a 350 cd/m² typical maximum luminance and 119% sRGB colour gamut (90.7% DCI-P3). 97.3% Adobe RGB is also specified, but this is a relative rather than absolute measurement and isn’t comparable to the other specified values – there is more significant undercoverage of Adobe RGB than suggested by this figure, in other words. Low Blue Light (LBL) settings are also included.
A 4ms grey to grey response time is specified, which as usual you shouldn’t put too much weight on. The stand attaches centrally using a quick-release mechanism and can be easily removed to reveal 100 x 100mm VESA holes for alternative mounting (VESA-P2 bracket compatible). The included stand is fully adjustable, including 150mm (5.91 inches) height adjustment and pivot into portrait. The ports mainly face downwards and include; AC power input (internal power converter), 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, DP 1.2a, USB-C (65W PD, DP Alt Mode, upstream data), 2 USB 3.2 (Gen 1) ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 2 additional USB 3.2 (Gen 1) ports are found at the right side of the screen, as viewed from the front, with the top supporting fast-charging. 2 x 3W speakers are also included.
