The Philips 346E2CUAE is a productivity-focused UltraWide with a smart and simple look. The bottom bezel is brushed textured matte with a central ‘PowerSensor’, an IR sensor that dims or turns off the screen if nobody is using it. The OSD controls are located towards the right side. Downwards-facing buttons with front-facing labels. There’s also a small white power LED, facing forwards.
A 34″ 3440 x 1440 VA (Vertical Alignment) UltraWide panel is employed, with 1500R curve designed to draw the user in a little bit. And potentially enhance viewing comfort. A 100Hz refresh rate is supported alongside Adaptive-Sync, including support for AMD FreeSync with a 48 – 100Hz VRR range (plus LFC). A 3000:1 static contrast is specified alongside 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles and true 8-bit colour. A flicker-free WLED backlight is used, supporting a typical maximum luminance of 350 cd/m² and a 121.3% sRGB colour space for a touch of extra vibrancy. ‘LowBlue Mode’ Low Blue Light (LBL) settings are included to create a more relaxing viewing experience. The included stand attaches using a quick-release mechanism and can be removed to reveal 100 x 100mm VESA holes for alternative mounting. The stand offers tilt and height adjustment (100mm or 3.94 inches). There are 4 USB 3.2 ports plus upstream at the left side, with a yellow-coloured port there offering BC 1.2 charging.
