The monitor follows MSI’s usual style code, nothing too flashy and lots of matte plastic. The top and side bezels are dual stage with slim panel border flush with the rest of the screen plus slender hard plastic outer part. A ‘G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive Tech’ ambient light sensor is included at the top, allowing the screen to adapt brightness and colour temperature according to ambient lighting under both SDR and HDR. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by a joystick at the rear of the screen, towards the right side as viewed from the front.
A 27″ 2560 x 1440 (QHD or 1440p) IPS panel is used, with 360Hz refresh rate and ‘full fat’ Nvidia G-SYNC delivered via a MediaTek scaler. This allows VRR support for Nvidia GPUs and can be accessed via Adaptive-Sync for AMD GPUs (‘FreeSync’) and HDMI 2.1 VRR. The monitor also supports up to 120Hz QHD for consoles. Nvidia GPU users can use G-SYNC Pulsar, a strobe backlight setting setting which can be used at the same time as VRR. The monitor includes a matte anti-glare screen surface is used and has 178°/178° viewing angles, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio and 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) colour specified. A flicker-free WLED backlight provides a 400 cd/m² (500 cd/m² HDR peak) typical maximum luminance and 90% DCI-P3 (91% Adobe RGB, 119% sRGB) colour gamut.
Basic HDR10 support is provided, though the brightness capability and gamut is quite limited by HDR standards and no local dimming is specified. Limited edge-lit local dimming may be included. A ‘0.5ms min’ grey to grey response time is specified. The stand is fully adjustable, including 130mm (5.12 inches) height adjustment and pivot into portrait. 100 x 100mm VESA mounting is supported as an alternative, whilst an RGB LED lighting element is included at the rear. The ports face downwards and include; DC power input (external ‘power brick’), a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, DP 1.4 (HBR3), 3 USB 3.0 ports plus Type-B upstream. A Micro USB-B port is included for firmware updates.

Further details can be found on the manufacturer’s website. The monitor is due Q1 2026, expected ~$600 USD pricing.
