The MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV is one such offering, with 300Hz QHD VA panel and FALD backlight solution. The screen has a smart and unassuming style, with dark matte materials used extensively and a simple rectangular stand base. The top and side bezels are dual-stage, with slim panel border flush with the rest of the screen plus thin hard plastic outer part. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by a joystick beneath a central underhang on the bottom bezel.
A 27” ‘Rapid VA’ panel is used with 2560 x 1440 (QHD or 1440p) resolution, matte anti-glare screen surface and 300Hz refresh rate. The generous colour gamut, 10-bit capability and good brightness levels can be put to good use alongside effective local dimming. A 0.5ms grey to grey response time is specified, with the screen factory calibrated with claimed DeltaE ≤2. The stand is fully adjustable, including 110mm (4.33 inches) height adjustment and pivot into portrait. It can be removed to reveal provision for 100 x 100mm VESA mounting. The ports face downwards and include; DC power input (external ‘power brick’), a 3.5mm headphone jack, DP 1.4 (with DSC) and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports.
